Nancy Hernandez Received a Travel Grant from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs

Nancy Hernandez of Colorado Springs, CO has received a $400 travel award from the UCCS Graduate School.

Hernandez is studying Educational Leadership, Research and Policy at UCCS and will present "Don't Forget About Us: Underachieving Latino Students Share Ideas for Scholarship Support." at the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Annual Conference in Chicago, IL later this year.

The UCCS Graduate School Travel Award assists graduate students who have been accepted to present their original research at professional conferences within their fields. These graduate students were chosen from a highly competitive group of applicants.
