Local Residents Receive $5,000 Graduate Fellowships From the University of Colorado Colorado Springs
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs Graduate School, in conjunction with the UCCS Office of Research and Innovation, recently awarded $75,000 in graduate fellowships to 15 students.
Each year, the Graduate School invites university faculty to nominate students for the fellowships based on merit and the student's commitment to engage in research. This year, 33 graduate students were nominated, with awards distributed among returning and new students.
"Evaluation of this year's nominees was a difficult process due to the number of high-quality candidates," Kelli Klebe, dean, Graduate School, said. "I am pleased that the awards were given to students who represent a variety of research disciplines from across the colleges, and between both doctoral and master's level candidates."
